Welcome to the inaugural episode of our new podcast, Dining with Druids! We’re your hosts, Ali and Jeff Lilly.

    Slainte mhaith! I’m honored that you included my work in your wide-ranging and occasionally hilarious conversation!

    Thank you for giving me more to think about as I continue to develop my rough draft. I would like to point out that the under-18 rule is based on my understanding that in the US, parents have a right to direct the religious upbringing of their minor children, and since I regard Tarot as a basis for spiritual counseling, if I read Tarot for minors without parental consent, I could be infringing on those parents’ legal rights. More here.

    Thanks for your response, Literata! You bring up some really fascinating points (both in this comment and in your follow-up post). The constitutional protection of parents’ religious rights was one we hadn’t even considered! And you’re absolutely right about walking that fine line when it comes to non-mainstream spiritual traditions and the regulations of businesses. Thanks for broadening the conversation and sharing it with us! And good luck as you take your Tarot work further.!
